Hayden AI Selected by Toyota Mobility as Finalist for City Architecture for Tomorrow Challenge!

Hayden AI Technologies, Inc., (“Hayden AI”) is proud to announce that its artificial intelligence-powered mobile data collection platform for enhancing safety and efficiency in Smart Cities has been selected as a semi-finalist in a major international traffic-planning competition, called the City Architecture for Tomorrow Challenge (CATCH), sponsored by the Toyota Mobility foundation (TMF).

Hayden AI was one of only four semi-finalists selected from the United States out of more than 90 teams from around the world that submitted what TMF is calling “their innovative, deep tech ideas to reimagine city planning through the effective usage of data.”

A total of 16 teams from Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, United Kingdom, and the United States picked as semi-finalists will receive up to $5,000 each to now more fully develop their ideas into proofs of concept for further consideration.

In making the announcement of the semi-finalists, Pras Ganesh, program director of TMF, praised Hayden AI and the other semi-finalists for their ideas “representing the data-driven future of sustainable and efficient city planning and mobility.”

The Challenge began in February 2020 with a global call for “dynamic, intelligent and data-driven solutions to address mobility and city planning challenges” in Kuala Lumpur, which, with an estimated 7.5 million people in its metro area, is Malaysia’s largest city and capital.

According to Carson, Hayden AI will work with TMF and its partners, including Kuala Lumpur’s City Hall and Malaysia’s Digital Economy Corporation, and their data partners, to enhance Hayden’s ideas until the selection of finalists in October.
